Choosing a retailer
Price in your network matters most, and it changes more between networks than between most retailers. Use a year of your own usage, because the order shifts between low and high users. Then check the feed-in tariff if you have solar, any fees, and whether a discount depends on paying on time.
Every retailer in the national market must publish its plans on Energy Made Easy, or on Victorian Energy Compare in Victoria. Our guide to who supplies each state explains how retail choice works, and the switching guide covers the steps.
