About EnergyAustralia

EnergyAustralia is one of the three largest retailers in the eastern states. It is owned by CLP Group, a Hong Kong based power company, which bought the retail business in 2011 from the NSW Government, when EnergyAustralia was still state owned.

It sells electricity to households in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT. Many of its plans use a guaranteed discount off market energy charges, which we include in the prices below because it does not depend on meeting a condition.
