General information only

Our content does not take into account your personal circumstances. Before choosing an energy plan, installing solar or a battery, or applying for a rebate, check the current terms with the business or government agency concerned, and get independent advice if you need it. We are not a retailer, broker or installer.

Accuracy

We take figures from regulators, governments and other named sources, and we show when each page was last checked. Prices, rules and programs can change without notice, and errors can happen. We do not guarantee that every figure is current or complete. If you find an error, please tell us.

Calculators

Our calculators give estimates. Results depend on what you enter and on stated assumptions such as appliance efficiency, solar output ratings and usage patterns. Your actual bill, savings or payback may differ.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Emergencies

For power outages, fallen powerlines or gas leaks, contact your network or call 000. Do not rely on this website in an emergency.
