About Powershop

Powershop is owned by Shell Energy, which bought it from New Zealand's Meridian Energy in a deal announced in November 2021 and completed in 2022.

Powershop also supplies the energy behind Kogan Energy. Kogan handles the brand and sign-up, and Powershop Australia is the retailer, so prices on the two brands can be identical in some areas.
