About the Embedded network electricity concessions
Embedded network residents often miss out because their operator cannot apply a concession to the bill. Tasmania pays them directly: a $673 low-income rebate for 2026-27, matching the retail concession.
Medical cooling or heating ($202) and life support amounts per device are also available, paid once a year per concession type.
Applications for the 2026-27 rates must be made by 30 June 2027, online or at Service Tasmania. You need a recent itemised bill from your embedded network operator.

- You do not already receive an electricity concession from a retailer or the network operator.
