About the Reticulated Natural Gas Rebate
The Reticulated Natural Gas Rebate is worth $96.45 a year including GST and is claimed through your gas retailer. It only covers piped (reticulated) gas, not bottled LPG.
The card list is narrower than for the Electricity Rebate: Health Care Card and ImmiCard holders qualify for the electricity rebate only, not the gas rebate.
Together with the Electricity Rebate, an eligible household with both fuels receives $495.92 a year.
Who can get it
- You have a reticulated natural gas account for your principal place of residence.
- You hold a Queensland Seniors Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran Gold Card. Health Care Cards qualify for the Electricity Rebate only.
