About the NSW Gas Rebate
The NSW Gas Rebate is the gas equivalent of the Low Income Household Rebate. It is worth up to $110 a year for retail gas customers and $121 in embedded networks, and is available to the same four concession cards.
It also covers bottled LPG, which matters in regional NSW where many homes are not on the gas network. You need to use more than 45 kg, or 88 litres, a year for basic household needs.
An eligible household with both electricity and gas can claim this and the Low Income Household Rebate, up to $395 a year between them.
