Who to call in Western Australia
Western Power runs the network in Perth and the south-west, while Synergy sends the bills. For an outage or emergency, call Western Power on 13 13 51, not Synergy.
Horizon Power supplies regional and remote WA, from Esperance to Kununurra. It is both network and retailer, and publishes a live list of current and scheduled outages by town.
WA is outside the national electricity market and its rules. Western Power and Horizon Power publish their own information on planned outages and the notice they give.
