Who to call in Tasmania

TasNetworks runs Tasmania's electricity network. Aurora Energy and other retailers send the bills, but only TasNetworks can fix a fault or restore supply.

TasNetworks publishes an interactive map of current outages. If yours is not shown, report it online. For electrical emergencies such as shocks, sparking or fallen lines, call 132 004, and 000 if anyone is in danger.

Tasmania applies the National Energy Retail Rules with a local change: very short planned interruptions, under 15 minutes, do not need the usual four business days' notice.
