Who to call in Australian Capital Territory

Evoenergy owns and runs the poles and wires across the ACT. ActewAGL Retail, which supplies most Canberra homes, is a separate business and cannot restore power.

Evoenergy's electricity emergency line, 13 10 93, takes reports of faults, outages and emergencies 24 hours a day. It also publishes current outages on its website.

More than half of Evoenergy's network is underground, which helps keep outages down, but storms and hot summer days still cause interruptions. Planned outages need at least four business days' notice under the national retail rules.
