About CitiPower

CitiPower has about 351,000 customers on just 4,600 kilometres of line, about half of it underground. A compact, dense network costs less per customer to run, which is why CitiPower usually has the lowest regulated electricity prices of any network in the national market.

It shares owners, management and many systems with Powercor. Both are part of Victoria Power Networks, which is 51% owned by CK Infrastructure Holdings and Power Assets Holdings and 49% by Spark Infrastructure.

A new five-year regulatory period began on 1 July 2026. The AER's final decision for Victoria's networks estimated that the distribution part of residential bills would fall on average across the period.

Owner: Part of Victoria Power Networks, 51% owned by CK Infrastructure Holdings and Power Assets Holdings, and 49% by Spark Infrastructure, which is owned by KKR, the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and PSP Investments.
